New Redesigned Twitter
December 9, 2011 2 Comments
It seems that youtube is not the only company having an extreme revamping this week [check here]. I just read on The Collector’s Bin blog that Twitter too has upgraded itself in a move that promises to be faster, more user friendly, and easier. The changes will apply to Twitter’s desktop app and smart phone apps (like the iPhone and Android apps).
Today we introduce a new version of Twitter. We’ve simplified the design to make it easier than ever to follow what you care about, connect with others and discover something new. You’ll see this new design both on Twitter.com and mobile phones, so that you’ll have a familiar experience any time, anywhere. We’ve also updated TweetDeck to be consistent with this new version.
Four new tabs bring you instantly closer to everything you care about. Visitfly.twitter.com to learn more about the changes.
Here are a few screen shots of the new Twitter template to give you an idea how the upgrade will look like, Twitter wants the look to be uniform across all platforms:
Here’s the iPhone [link] and the Android [link]. I’ve got a BB, and sadly there still isn’t an upgraded twitter app for that yet.

Sweet, thanks for the mention
Thanks for the info
I don’t like the upgrade so far, but it really seems to be faster and leaner
