Grocery Shopping Tips from Diet Care

This was put together by Sarah Dimashkieh, lead dietitian at Diet Care, to present the easy guide for healthy supermarket shopping. Sneak peaks of future events: easy ways to lose your belly fat, nutrition for hair, skin, and nails, health for athletes.
We were invited yesterday to Diet Care’s first Nutritional Tips workshops, but we sadly couldn’t make it due to previous engagements. However, Diet Care were kind enough to share their Super Market Shopping Tips vid with us.
Take a look at the video, it will help you buy more healthy next time you go grocery shopping. Here are a few tips:
Don’t shop while you’re hungry. Shop on the outer isles, that’s where the healthy stuff is. Buy multi grain and hard bread, rather than white and soft. Chose cheese containing less than 30% fat, preferably parmesan and fresh mozzarella. Buy fresh and not canned fruit. Chose snacks like: non-cream based icrecreams, dark chocolate, and fat-free popcorn.
