UAE Ruler Settles all Emirate Personal Debt Below One Million Dirhams

The United Emirates Ruler Sh. Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nuhayan ordered the settlement of all individual debt blow one million dirhams (approx. $300,000) belonging to Emirati citizens. This will benefit some 7,000 nationals.
There are a few conditions to accompany this relief: 25% deduction of monthly salary, and no new borrowings till the full settlement of the relieved debt. Click [here] for further details.
