My First Experience with Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston has passed away, at the age of 48.

I had my first taste of Whitney back in 1987 or ’88, with her hit song “I Want to Dance with Somebody”. Just like Michael Jackson and Madonna, we grew up with Whitney.

It was sad hearing about her drug problems over the years, but we still continued to love her and her talent. She was one of the music world’s greatest in the mid ’80′s till late 90′s, she was queen for a long time. We will remember her that way.

The Grammy’s today will be eerie with Whitney’s sudden passing. I’m sure everyone will try to make a Whitney tribute of some kind. Whitney will surely be missed greatly by her colleagues.
