Some of the Cars at The Concours d’Elegance

Here are a few pictures I snapped last night at The Concours d’Elegance. I was inside the closed area, while organizers brought the cars in, and were getting the show ready for tonight’s official opening.

When I came back home, I went through the pictures, and I was like wow. There were a lot of amazing cars there. The whole Marina Crescent is filled with beautiful gorgeous cars.

• The classic cars and the Zagato are in the closed off area, in the area just before Starbucks.
• Then you’ve got the Bentley race car, the Alfa Romeo super car, some LeMans race cars, some tiny small engine toy looking race cars all show cased around the Marina Crescent cafe area.
• There’s also a Muscle cars section, a Disney\Pixar stage, some really old (maybe even first generation) Astons and Bugattis all displayed in the area between the Marina Crescent and the Marina Hotel.

I regret not going to Aston Martin’s official Zagato launch, which was going to take place at Salwa hall nearby. But I was late for an important thing, and was already getting bored, and so not in the mood for some stuffy press conference thing. Now I’m bummed. I didn’t know that Kuwait was having Zagato’s world premier launch!

Anyways, The Concours d’Elegance is fun, and has tons of stuff to entertain everyone. You can easily spend a lot of hours around the place, for a really fun day and night. We’re definitely going there again.
