One Page Kuwait State Budget Review دليل موازنة المواطن الكويتي للعام ٢٠١٢/٢٠١١

The Ministry of Finance in Kuwait has just released a one page ad in Al-Qabas newspaper, detailing and explaining the revenues and expenses of The State of Kuwait for the fiscal year 2011/2012.
I’m very impressed with this ad. It’s explains the ins and outs of Kuwait’s State budget, where money is coming in from and where’s it’s going. I don’t think the M.O.Finance has done this before, explaining the State budget in such common Kuwaiti laymen diagrams and lists.

23% of budget goes to government salaries?! WOW. and people are still calling for salary increases, bonuses and whatnot.
free education. free food. free healthcare. what more do we want?! al7amdulillah.
The percentage of money that goes to salaries is much higher than that. But it doesn’t show in salaries, because it’s being paid out from ‘Other Expenses” of kd 9 billion!!
