Al-Futtaim becomes Fisker’s GCC delear

Fisker Hybrid cars are coming to the GCC and Egypt through the UAE based Al-Futtaim group. They’re opening the region’s first Fisker dealership in Dubai’s Festival City at the end of this year.
The Fisker is famous for its Karma car, the most luxurious electrical\gasoline hybrid car on the market.
The Karma is an expensive car. It starts in the States at around $100 thousand and goes up to $120 thousand, which I think is a high price to pay just to be slightly more environmentally friendly.
GCC gas prices are extremely cheap, so the Karma’s features of being electrically charged and sun powered are not that attractive. Especially in a region where there’s hardly anyone who cares about the environment to begin with. But if our young people think of it’s a cool car to own and an awesome one to drive, then yeah, it could sell well in the GCC.

Too expensive, this will most certainly tank in the GCC. For this price, one can get a gorgeous BMW6 series or a Range Rover and as you said, gas is really cheap here. As or Egypt, no one can afford it.
I just said the same thing on twitter. The new 4-door 6 series is a much better choice for ur money.
