It will be too hot, and 2. They might postpone it if the weather is bad on that date. Anyways, the race is fun for the whole family. Pictures of my visit to the Friday Market

This was my time visiting the Friday Market. It’s definitely a unique market, and a very interesting one at that. It’s got antiques, old radios and turn tables, traditional and cultural Kuwaiti items, second hands of everything from clothes to toys, discounted super market items, furniture and rugs, and lots more stuff like glasses, kitchenware, and power generators.

I hastily defined the Friday market as hailigi at first, which I quickly changed to an “interestingly but still boring” market. I don’t think I’ll go there again (read most definitely am not). But honestly, a lot of people love going there, and they go there all the time. So there’s obviously something very interesting there to attract all those people to visit again and again.

So if you haven’t been there before, pay it a visit (but only if you’re really really bored and seriously don’t have anything better to do). I personally recommend skipping the market all together. The only positives about this place are: it was cheap, it wasn’t crowded on weekends, you meet friendly people, and get to see interesting useless nicknacks. You can spend a good few hours there without noticing.

The Friday Market is obviously open on Fridays of every week, but they’re also open Thursdays and Saturdays too.

There’s a two day expo ending tomorrow in Mubarakiya area, on sarareef pedestrian st. This expo is filled with cute and unique stuff, so it’s a bit different than other ones.

There are Kuwaiti painters, knitters, card game developers, in addition to the usual 3eed wa6ani accessory sellers. There’s also a children’s stage where sings and competitions take place.

I would say pay this place a visit if you’re not traveling or going to chalet this holiday. It ends tomorrow.

Huge big-as-houses trucks “crush and kill” event, an awesomely fun thing to watch. We got tickets to the show and to the pre-show pit. Grave Digger is supposed to be the baddest of all trucks, and he’ll be there tonight. I’ve never been to a car sporting event like this before, so this will definitely be a fun thing to do.

Now that is something I definitely want to do. I haven’t been to one in forever, and the kids haven’t ever seen one. This is on my must-do list. Finally, something fun and unique to do.

Kuwait is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its constitution this year with a massive show on Gulf Rd. next Saturday Nov. 10th, from 3-10 p.m.

The show will focus on 5 canvases reflecting certain Value of the Celebration, it will include great amount of fireworks, lit Kites, Flying falcons, Floating Creatures, airplane show, heliosphere acrobats… and much more.
