MBC’s mosalsal WiFi gave us this hilarious and funny segment, a spitting doppelganger of Manzour Zayed in his “6ala3 3asheg” video clip. They even got his eyebrow winky thing right. As for his hip swaying moves, those are just some added bonus. Honestly, the clip is just pure hilarity.

تدور احداثه في الفترة مابين نهاية الستينات وبداية السبعينات ، وقت موضة زواج الكويتيين من بنات الشام ، وتتناول القصة ام اسمها طيبة، عندها أربعة ابناء تريد تزويجهم ، وتكون ساكنة في الشامية ، ومعروف عن منطقة الشامية أنها كانت ولا تزال من المناطق الراقية من ايام السبعينات
Mosalsal “Kinat AlSham w Kanayen Al-Shamiya” is a nice 70′s era Kuwaiti tv show, and is exclusively shown on MBC1 during Ramadan.

You can watch all of MBC’s Ramadan programs and mosalsalat online through their shahid.net service [link], or on the iPad through their shahid.net app [iTunes link].
Episodes are updates shortly after airing, and programs are well organized according to channel and show name.
It’s also worth noting that online viewing via the shahid. net service is available all year round, and not exclusively during Ramadan only.

Al-Anba newspaper wrote a nice article, backed by several Eygptian and Saudi religious men, about the aceptability of airing the ramadhan mosalsal “Omar”.
The show’s promo looked amazing, and I’m happy to know that it’ll still air in Ramadhan. We can learn a lot about our Islamic history through shows like this.

This is one of the new mosalsalat for Ramdhan this year, and will air on AbuDhabi. The cast is Kuwaiti and Emirati, and the show is set in Dubai.
يتربع مسلسل “لو باقي ليلة” على قمة المسلسلات الخليجية التي تعرضها قناة أبوظبي الأولى خلال شهر رمضان المقبل، مع نخبة من النجوم في مقدمتهم عبدالعزيز الجاسم وبثينة الرئيسي، وصلاح الملا، وشيماء علي، وأسيل عمران، وحمد العماني. والمسلسل من تأليف حسين المهدي وإخراج علي العلي.
يغوص المسلسل في تفاصيل حياة أربع بنات فقدن والدتهن إثر حادث سير وسبب الحادث العمى لإحدى الفتيات، بقيت البنات عاماً كاملاً مع الأب بعد وفاة الأم، وذلك لمراعاة أختهن العمياء، ولكن الأب الحزين قرر أن يتزوج بعد ثلاثة أشهر من صديقة ابنته أيام المدرسة رغم رفض بناته. تحيل الزوجة الشابة البيت إلى جحيم، حتى تتمكن من أن تجعل الأب يطرد بناته من المنزل ويعيش لوحده معها، وحين تخرج البنات من المنزل ويصبحن لوحدهن تحدث الكوارث، فلكل واحدة منهن قصة مؤثرة وحكاية جديرة بالمتابعة. يقول الفنان عبدالعزيز الجاسم: “لو باقي ليلة عمل اجتماعي يحمل أفكاراً هامة، وقد اخترته من بين سبعة مسلسلات عرضت علي هذا العام، حيث ألعب دور أب رومانسي وهو من الأدوار الجديدة في مسيرتي الفنية”.
وتوقع الجاسم أن يلقى المسلسل نجاحاً كبيرا في رمضان، وأن يكون منافساً قوياً، وذلك بفضل الجهود التي بذلها العاملون فيه، والميزانية الكبيرة التي رصدها المنتج لخروج العمل بالطريقة المثالية [المصدر].

There’s a new hashtag on Twitter, to boycott some of the khaleeji tv shows this Ramadan. The hastag is called (مسلسلات الضياع#), and it’s aimed towards the more nasty shows, ones that have the potential to currport our youth and degrade our social behavior, or something else on those lines.
I admit I was intrigued by the new hashtag, because I thought it would be the easiest way to get the names of interesting TV shows to watch. Sadly, all I found was religious and lecture-style tweets, but not a single show’s name.
