Jimmy Fallon and Glee at the Emmys 2010

The primetime Emmy award winners have been announced; and I am sad to say that none of my favorite actors actresses or shows have won. The only close thing to good news is that Modern Family won best comedy, and this is not a top favorite show of mine, but I still watch it sometimes. Other than that, all I can say about the Emmys is What A Bummer!!

Anyways, I leave you with the Emmy’s opening act. It features Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey, Betty White, the cast of Glee, and fat dude from Lost. They’re performing Bruce Springsteen‘s Born to Run.

I guess people love Nadia in Zwarat 5amees

I have to admit, even though I post a lot about mosalsalat Ramadan; I rarely watch any. The only exception is Zwarat 5amees, which I’ve seen a few episodes of so far.

The show started with Thnayan and Mouza having the most perfect marriage ever, even by western standards, and not by lowest of the low Gulf standards. It all changed in the last few days. It seems that Thanyan is falling in love with his sister in law, of all people. Come on, ma legait elah Nadia!!

I don’t know about you guys, but for me, the love between Thnayan and Mouza is already over, if he’s willing to cheat (or as people put it, he already has) on Mouza. Cheating with his sister just makes him an a**hole, as well as a big time cheater.

Anyways, it seems that Nadia had a few supporters of her own. Have a peek at the picture to get an idea of her brainless idiot bunch of supporters.

Thank you om ToTa, my favorite B in the whole wide world

My best friend, and one of a handful of people who know about my blog, celebrated my one month blog anniversary today. She got me a Marron Glace cake from Opera, which we ended up eating in IKEA of all places.

She did everything behind my back. First she tells me she’s going to be a bit late, came up with a an excuse that made me wonder. Then she disappeared when I was ordering the food; to get the plates, forks, and kitchen knife from the IKEA people.

I go back to the table, and I see this Opera bag. And I’m like, what’s going on? Then she tells me “Mabrook”, and that she had wanted to do this ever since I reached 5,000 hits (now I’m at 7,500 mashalla). Then she decided to wait a couple of days till the actual anniversary.

This turned out great, because yesterday his&hers delivered the great news that I was on the top 10 Kuwaiti sites of the day, which is like WOW. So the celebration was double. And since we were going to IKEA anyways, she decided it would be ok to take the cake there.

We had a lovely time, we ate good food, and everyone enjoyed the relaxed quite atmosphere. Thank you B for making my anniversary and the great news even more special.
