My review of “Eedam”, a very delicious Kuwaiti restaurant

Eedam is a home-delivery Kuwaiti food restaurant, located in Audailiya. I have heard a lot about this place for more than a year now, but never got the chance to try it before.

I heard a lot about their tasty Murabyan (Mawwash with shrimp), so I decided to give it a try. I also ordered Lamb Machboos. The Murabyan comes with Daqqous 9bbar and ma3boush chili, while the Machboos comes with Tomato Daqqous and chili too.

The Murabyan was amazing, it was really really good. The rice was cooked to perfection, and while I don’t like shrimp much, the whole dish was very delicious. The 9bbar was tangy and spicy, and complimented the Murabyan really well. This is a dish that I will be ordering repeatedly. It costed KD3.5, and is easily enough for 2 people. And since they’re using fresh shrimp, rather than dried ones, the dish is reasonably priced.

The Machboos, on the other hand, was a bit less than OK. The rice was nice, the meat was fresh, but it just tasted normal. I am a lover of Lamb Machboos and tomato daqqous, so I was a bit upset that both things were bland. The only good thing I can say about this dish is that it’s fresh. It costed KD2.5, and is also enough to feed 2 people.

I’ve also heard that Eedam’s yereesh is good, but since I haven’t tried it yet, I can’t really give an honest opinion.

Eedam is located in kazma Sport Club in Audailiya, with no table service, just home-delivery. Their phone #s are 22529948 & 22531316.
