There’s no Service Charge in Dubai

I’ve just noticed that none of Dubai’s restaurants, cafes, or even bars charge any service charge. This is a lot better than the mandatory 10-15% we have to pay in Kuwait, whether you liked or hated the service.

Ever since I found out about this charge by some of the establishments here, and I have not paid a single fils as tip as I used too. Thats even if the service charge was not listed since I heard that if it isn’t listed it would already be factored in the food price!

Moral of my comment? Don’t tip restaurants in Kuwait

I’ve heard that their not allowed to charge for service, only for food. And that they wud cancel the charge if u bring it up to them.

Elmoshkila is if u do this, then ur guaranteed a bad meal the next time u go there. Plus, if it’s against the lasw, then I feel that the M.O.Commerce shud enforce it bilgaseb on restaurants, and not leave it to customers to complain about 😦
