Beyonce on Oprah’s Farewell Show

Oprah is ending her 25-year talk show this year, the May 25th episode will be her last. There’s also going to be a special two-day pre-farewell episode, with a whole lot of celebrities joining in to say goodbye to her.

We’re talking Will Smith, Tom Hanks, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Beyonce, Diane Sawyer, Maya Angelou, Hale Berry, Maria Shriver, Michael Jordan,Tom Cruise, Katy Holmes, Simon Cowell, Dakota Fanning, and many many more. Oh, and Madonna.

This vid is a sneak peak at the special pre-farewell show. Would you just look at that crowd. Wow. It looks like a concert crowd. There’s got to be at least 50,000 people there.

This clip isn’t from the final farewell episode, this is from the special two-part pre farewell. The final episode is a surprise, not even Oprah knows what’s on it.

Even though I don’t watch Oprah frequently or even often, I still get mesmerized and entertained by her whenever I catch her show. I don’t think there’s a better talk show host. Even Ellen, as good and funny as she is, doesn’t come anywhere close to Oprah’s magical talent.

Review of Kabab 7ijja Sandwiches

20110518-103005.jpg    20110518-102740.jpg

I wanted to have Kabab 7ijja for dinner tonight, but they were sold out of meat. So the guy there suggested I try a Kabab sandwich, which I never even knew sold. I knew they had chicken Shawarma sandwiches, but never of meat Kabab ones.

I ordered one of each, and they both tasted good. I would even date say, they both tasted really really good.

The Kabab sandwich comes stuffed with green leaf vegis and some kind of white sauce, not 6e7eena though. The chicken Shawarma comes with the same green leaf vegis, garlic sauce, and pickles.

Next time, I’ll order my Kabab sandwich with grilled tomatoes, since I love them so much. I wouldn’t change anything on the Shawarma, the chicken is cut nicely and the portion isn’t overwhelming.

The sandwiches are 250 fils each, which is damn cheap mashalla.

Just Received the Motorola Xoom from VIVA

VIVA sent me the latest tablet device, the Motorola Xoom, to try out for a few days.

First thing I noticed was the many wires and accessories it had. There was this thing that looks like external speakers, with HDMI ports and stuff. I’m going to try and connect the Xoom to the TV, and check playback quality.

It’s going to take a couple of hours to charge, which means I can’t start playing yet.

You can get your Motorola Xoom from VIVA, starting from KD99.
